Haley Baylee to Host New Netflix Competition Show ‘Win The Mall’
EXCLUSIVE: Social media personality Haley Baylee, who boasts tens of millions of followers, is set to take on a new role as a television host.
Baylee, a former scientist turned influential content creator, will host Netflix’s upcoming reality competition series Win The Mall. This announcement places her among other notable influencers, such as Alix Earle, who is also leading a Netflix reality series.
This role will be Baylee’s debut as a television host.
Scheduled to premiere in the fall, Win The Mall combines elements of shopping and social strategy. Contestants will be placed in a living mall environment, competing to outshop, outsmart, and outlast each other, with only one emerging as the victor and claiming the ultimate prize.
The series is produced by Fremantle, known for its work on American Idol. Executive producers include Jimmy Fox, recently promoted to this role, along with showrunner Charles Wachter and Media Headquarters’ Robert Cohen and Melanie Brobyn.
Baylee has amassed over 35 million followers across platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, gaining prominence after winning Sports Illustrated’s Model Search in 2017. She has collaborated with a roster of celebrities, including Ariana Grande, Jacob Elordi, Coleman Domingo, Olivia Rodrigo, Courteney Cox, the Jonas Brothers, and Ed Sheeran.
Win The Mall is just one of several reality competition series being launched by Netflix. The platform has recently introduced shows like Building the Band and Star Search, with a Willy Wonka-themed series titled The Golden Ticket on the horizon. Netflix has also renewed popular series such as Million Dollar Secret and Squid Game: The Challenge.
Fremantle is also responsible for a variety of other notable series, including NBC’s Password and ABC’s American Idol. The production company has previously created Netflix’s successful dating series, Too Hot To Handle, which ran for six seasons.
