Sydney Sweeney Shares Her Journey to Confidence and Body Positivity Through Euphoria
Sydney Sweeney Launches Lingerie Brand Syrn, Inspired by Personal Journey
Sydney Sweeney, known for her compelling roles in hit series such as Euphoria and The Housemaid, has unveiled her lingerie brand, Syrn, kicking off 2026 with a venture rooted deeply in her past. Sweeney, 28, shared insights about her journey towards this launch, revealing it stems from personal experiences with body confidence.
“I grew up with boobs. I was wearing a 32DD in sixth grade, and I never felt confident,” Sweeney stated in an exclusive interview. “I never had anything I felt good in, and I just wanted to hide. It wasn’t until [I played] Cassie in Euphoria that I started realizing it’s actually powerful to be confident; our bodies are incredible. We should embrace [them] and feel really good in our skin.”
Sweeney’s experience portraying Cassie sparked a desire for lingerie that offers both style and support, particularly for those with larger busts. “I’d always be like, ‘Oh, this fit doesn’t work,’” she explained. This realization led her to create a Pinterest board filled with inspiration before deciding to bring her vision to life.
The brand’s debut in January featured collections like "Seductress" and "Romantic," showcasing an array of lace-covered bras available in sizes up to 44. "That’s kind of why I wanted to build all these different worlds,” Sweeney elaborated. "So [fans] could honestly choose what they wanted to be [at] the start of the day or the end of the day.”
In a discussion about the brand’s mission, Sweeney expressed her hopes for the impact of her designs. “What’s cool about Syrn is there’s something for everybody. Even if you know who you are, you want to discover what you like,” she remarked. "I hope they feel confident, excited. If they want to be cozy, they feel cozy. If they want to be romantic, they feel like they’re living in their own daydream."
Among her favorite designs is a black corset inspired by a custom piece she once wore. She described it as “perfect” for transforming a casual look into something more chic, highlighting its versatility and flattering shape.
Sweeney also took pride in adding personal touches to her designs. “There are usually little messages in my pieces. I love hearts… I play dress up now with my own [SYRN] stuff, and I wore this white lace top solo the other day. And I was like ‘Wait. I didn’t even think I could — This works!’”
Looking ahead, Sweeney envisions a bright future for Syrn, with aspirations for it to become a staple in wardrobes everywhere. “In five years, I see the brand in everyone’s closets,” she noted confidently.
