Crystal Harris Stands By Kendra Wilkinson After ‘Aging Poorly’ Remarks: Celebrating Growth Together
Crystal Harris Offers Support to Kendra Wilkinson Amid Online Criticism
Crystal Harris has publicly expressed her support for Kendra Wilkinson, years after their time at the Playboy Mansion. Harris, who was married to the late Hugh Hefner from 2012 until his passing in 2017, responded to Wilkinson’s candid post addressing negative comments about her appearance and the claims that she is "aging poorly."
On March 8, Harris wrote, “Cheers to those who grow and move on to the life waiting for us. ❤️” This message came as Wilkinson shared her reflection on social media about the harsh criticism she has faced, revealing an empowered outlook on aging. Harris has also recently initiated a legal name change back to her maiden name, a move reported in exclusive court documents.
Jessica Hall, another former Playboy bunny, took to social media to support Wilkinson, declaring, “You are just beautiful at every stage in your life and as I tell my own daughter what makes you most beautiful is your heart. ❤️”
Wilkinson gained fame at 18 as part of the reality series The Girls Next Door alongside Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt. This exposure lasted six seasons, after which she starred in her own E! spinoff, Kendra, followed by Kendra on Top and Kendra Sells Hollywood, showcasing her life as a real estate agent.
Now a mother of two—Hank Jr., 16, and Alijah, 11—with ex-husband Hank Baskett, Wilkinson candidly discussed accepting her appearance in a recent post on International Women’s Day. She remarked, “I used to use a light filter on myself but now I’m just embracing myself as it is.” She acknowledged the negative feedback, stating, “I’m ok with aging ‘poorly.’”
Wilkinson also shared her newfound happiness, attributing it to personal growth despite changes in her physical appearance. “I am a balanced, single, positive, fun woman who loves life, and I hope to manage this feeling forever after working hard to get to this place,” she wrote.
Hall reiterated her admiration for Wilkinson, noting their close friendship. She expressed pride in Wilkinson’s growth as a mother and her ability to navigate challenges with grace. "She’s just evolving," Hall stated, praising the single mother for her parenting skills.
Wilkinson’s journey highlights the ongoing dialogue about body positivity and self-acceptance, especially in the public eye.
