Ivanna Lisette Ortiz: Insights on the Woman Involved in the Shooting Near Rihanna’s LA Home
Florida Woman Arrested for Shooting at Rihanna’s Home in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES — Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 35, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident at the Los Angeles home of singer Rihanna and her partner A$AP Rocky. Authorities reported that shots were fired outside the residence in the affluent Beverly Crest neighborhood.
Ortiz was taken into custody with her bail set at $10,225,000. Law enforcement confirmed that no injuries occurred during the shooting, and an assault-style rifle was recovered from a vehicle associated with the suspect.
The timeline of events indicates that the shooting occurred around 1:20 p.m. on March 8, while Rihanna was reportedly home. There is no clarity on whether A$AP Rocky and their three children were present at the time. Witnesses and surveillance footage led investigators to determine that Ortiz fled the scene in a white Tesla with paper license plates. She was later located and arrested in the Sherman Oaks Galleria.
Ongoing investigations include the review of social media accounts believed to belong to Ortiz. Some posts contain references to religion and notable figures, including Rihanna. One post attributed to Ortiz read: "Listen Rihanna, when you die, God is taking me to my future."
Public records reveal that Ortiz has had multiple addresses in Orlando, Florida, although it remains unknown when she arrived in California or the duration of her stay.
In a related note, court records show that a person named Ivanna Ortiz filed an emergency petition in October 2025 against Live Nation and the City of Orlando, seeking to block a Billie Eilish concert. The petition was dismissed after the concert proceeded as scheduled.
Additionally, Orange County court documents indicate that Ortiz has received five traffic citations from 2008 to 2024, including a red-light camera citation in 2024, for which she pleaded no contest.
The Los Angeles Police Department continues to investigate the case, with an arraignment date for Ortiz expected to be announced soon.
