Colin From Accounts Starts Filming Season 3 in Australia with Exciting Cast Updates
Production for the highly anticipated third season of the Australian comedy series Colin From Accounts has officially begun in Australia. Fans can catch up on the first two seasons, which are exclusively available for streaming in the U.S. on Paramount+.
Created and written by Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer, Colin From Accounts explores the romantic misadventures of two quirky characters, whose relationship is both flawed and endearing. The new season will pick up in the wake of Gordon’s unsuccessful proposal, creating uncertainty around the futures of Gordon, Ashley, and Colin.
“After the Season 2 cliffhanger, it would be cruel not to show you all what happens next, and we can’t wait for you to see it. Getting to make this show continues to be a total thrill for us, and we’re pumpled (pumped & humbled) that people have enjoyed the first two seasons so much. That’s what they say to our faces, anyway,” Brammall and Dyer said in a joint statement.
The Season 2 finale ended on a dramatic note, with Ashley and Gordon attending Megan’s (Emma Harvie) surprise wedding to Rumi (Virginia Gay). Overwhelmed by the emotions of the day, Gordon proposed to Ashley, momentarily disrupting the wedding celebration. The scene elicited stunned reactions from guests, adding to the awkwardness typical of the series.
While Gordon’s awkwardness is part of his character, Ashley’s response was equally intense, urging him to consider that it wasn’t their special day. Although she did not outright reject his proposal, the moment quickly transitioned from romantic to cringeworthy. The show’s charm lies in the peculiar dynamics of their relationship, and as fans hope for a more joyful resolution, many anticipate a wedding featuring Colin as the ring bearer.
