Candice Swanepoel Shares Her Bag Essentials: Gua Sha Tools, Rhode’s Pocket Blush, and More
Candice Swanepoel Shares Insights on Packing and Personal Essentials
Candice Swanepoel, the renowned Victoria’s Secret Angel, emphasizes the importance of simplicity and personal comfort when it comes to her daily essentials. In a recent interview with Us Weekly, she explained her intentional approach to packing, stating, “I pack intentionally. Everything has a purpose and is in separate little bags. It’s about feeling comfortable, confident and cared for throughout the day.”
As the founder of the swimwear brand Tropic of C, Swanepoel highlighted her preference for products that are both functional and nurturing. “I choose products that are practical and help me feel like myself, even on the go,” she noted. Her choice of bags also reflects her lifestyle; while she adjusts her selection based on her outfit and destination, she prefers a spacious tote for work or travel. Currently, she carries a large brown Alo tote, designed to accommodate all her essentials.
In detailing the contents of her meticulously organized tote, Swanepoel described her travel strategy: “I travel with pouches like I’m packing for a micro expedition,” referring particularly to a small bag filled with eye masks and Gua Sha tools, which she uses to rejuvenate her skin during busy days.
Among her beauty essentials, Swanepoel has several favorites. She cites the Pat McGrath Labs Lip Fetish Sheer Colour Balm, which she describes as enhancing her natural features. “I love anything that enhances what’s already there, and this does exactly that.”
When it comes to finances, her Goyard wallet doesn’t contain U.S. currency, but rather various bills from her travels in Costa Rica, Mexico, and Brazil.
Swanepoel also carries Rhode Pocket Blush in shades Freckle and Piggy, praising their blendability and versatility in application. “You can go sheer or build them up,” she said, expressing her appreciation for the products’ adaptability.
In a nod to practicality, she prefers traditional wired headphones over wireless options, stating, “I lose the wireless ones too often… I can’t risk being without music—or raw-dogging a flight.”
Finally, as a mother of two, she often finds herself packing sentimental items for her sons, Anacan, 9, and Ariel, 7. “It’s usually something random like a special rock that absolutely could not be left behind,” she joked about the necessity of their treasures.
Her tote also features an assortment of accessories, including multiple pairs of sunglasses from brands like Gentle Monster and Yves Saint Laurent, underscoring her blend of style and comfort.
