Failure Shares Exciting News: New Album and 2026 Tour with Lead Single “The Air’s on Fire”
Failure has announced the release of their upcoming album, Location Lost, slated for April 24, 2026. To mark the occasion, the Los Angeles alternative rock band has released a new single, "The Air’s on Fire," and revealed a North American tour schedule set for Spring 2026.
The Location Lost tour will commence with a hometown album release performance at Zebulon in Los Angeles. This concert is the first of several dates that will take the band across the continent, concluding with a show in Toronto on May 20. The tour includes stops in major cities such as Las Vegas, Chicago, Atlanta, New York City, Philadelphia, and Detroit, along with anticipated festival appearances at Sick New World and Welcome to Rockville.
Tickets for select dates will be available through a Live Nation pre-sale beginning Thursday, February 19, at 10 a.m. local time, while general sales will commence the following day at the same time.
The haunting new single "The Air’s on Fire" carries a personal narrative for lead singer Ken Andrews, stemming from his experiences following back surgery. "That song is directly about my surgery and waking up," he explained. "I basically coded. Everything was spinning. I kept saying, ‘Turn the air on. I’m fine — just take me home.’ I was definitely not fine."
The album will also feature a collaboration with Paramore’s Hayley Williams on a track titled "The Rising Skyline." Williams, a long-time admirer of the band, appeared in Failure’s recent documentary, Every Time You Lose Your Mind.
