Bad Bunny Talks Super Bowl LX Halftime Show Guest Stars and Why You Don’t Need to Speak Spanish to Enjoy the “Heartbeat Dance”
Bad Bunny is set to perform at the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, offering a glimpse into what fans can expect during his act.
The Puerto Rican singer, known for his Spanish-language music, humorously suggested that audience members have four months to learn Spanish in order to enjoy the show.
“I don’t want to give any spoilers,” he stated at the Apple Music press conference regarding his performance. “It’s gonna be fun, and it’s gonna be a party. It’s gonna be easy, and people only have to worry about dance.”
He added, “I know that I told them they had four months to learn Spanish, but they don’t even have to learn Spanish. They just have to learn how to dance. But I think there’s a better dance … the one that comes from the heart — the heartbeat dance. That’s the only thing that they need to worry about. And have fun, enjoy.”
Despite the upcoming performance, Bad Bunny mentioned that initially, he had not intended to participate in the Super Bowl, preferring to focus on his residency in Puerto Rico. “I was just looking to connect with my roots, people more than ever, connect with myself, with my history, with my culture, and I did in a very honest way,” he explained.

He expressed that the global audience was eager to see him showcase his talents, leading him to realize the importance of sharing his music with the world. “I want to show some love to the world, to Latin America, and the opportunity to bring that feeling that I put on that album to one of the biggest stages in the world,” he said.
Through his album Debí Tirar Más Fotos, Bad Bunny aimed to reconnect with his roots. He noted that its success confirmed the value of pride in one’s identity, stating, “Always be proud of who you are and feel comfortable being yourself. Feel proud of your history, where you’re from, but don’t let that limit yourself. I know where I come from, but I also know where I can go.”
When asked if he would feature any guest stars during his Super Bowl performance, Bad Bunny kept the details under wraps. “That’s something I’m not gonna tell you,” he said, hinting at the possibility of special performers joining him on stage.
Instead, the artist focused on the significance of his personal guests, including family and friends, as well as “all the Latino community around the world that support me and the whole country,” emphasizing, “There’s a lot of people that love me around the world.”
