Get to Know Tarek El Moussa’s Three Kids: Taylor, Brayden, and Tristan

Tarek El Moussa, widely recognized for his house-flipping ventures, is also navigating the challenges and joys of parenting three children, including an infant.

El Moussa’s journey into fatherhood began in 2010, when his then-wife, Christina Hall, gave birth to their daughter, Taylor Reese, who is now 15. The couple expanded their family in 2015 with the arrival of their son, Brayden James, now 10. Although Tarek and Christina split in 2016 and finalized their divorce in 2018, they have maintained a strong co-parenting relationship, prioritizing their children’s well-being.

"The kids are the most important thing," Tarek told PEOPLE in October 2017. "If Mom and Dad can’t get along, it affects the kids, so Mom and Dad better get along."

In January 2023, Tarek welcomed his third child, son Tristan, with his current wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, a star from the series Selling Sunset. The couple announced their pregnancy in July 2022.

"I’m just obsessed with my kids. They’re my everything, so having another one is just icing on the cake. I’m so excited," El Moussa shared with PEOPLE.

During a May 2023 appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the couple discussed their journey with in vitro fertilization prior to Tristan’s conception. Heather noted that they still have embryos available, hinting at the possibility of expanding their family further.

As a father, Tarek has expressed the importance of cherishing time with his children. In July 2023, he shared photos of himself with Tristan while traveling, emphasizing the significance of family moments.

“I know how quickly this time goes, so taking in every moment before I blink and all of my kids are all grown up❤️," he reflected. "Been taking a lot of family vacations recently because, at the end of the day, the work I put in means nothing without the people I love the most.”

Taylor Reese El Moussa was born on September 22, 2010. She first appeared on her parents’ show Flip or Flop, which aired from 2013 to 2022. Taylor has also been featured in Tarek and Christina’s spin-off shows Tarek’s Flip Side and Christina on the Coast.

Tarek has suggested that Taylor may pursue a career in real estate, noting her impressive design skills. In a 2020 Instagram post, he described her as a “brilliant little girl.”

“I’m so proud and excited for Taylor. I hope more than anything that she will be working by my side one day ❤️," he wrote.

Taylor’s growth into adolescence has been both celebrated and documented by her parents, with Tarek recently calling her his "first born" and "daddy’s little girl."

Later that year, Hall shared an Instagram photo with Taylor, reflecting on how they now wear the same shoe size.

Brayden James El Moussa, 10

Tarek and Christina’s second child, Brayden James, was born on August 20, 2015. In an Instagram post from January 2022, Heather mentioned that Brayden showed a keen interest in sharks, expressing an enthusiasm for marine life.

Brayden is also involved in sports, including soccer and Jiu Jitsu. Tarek has praised his son’s dedication, calling him an "inspiration" in a post celebrating his achievements.

In May 2022, Brayden underwent an emergency appendectomy. Christina shared that the surgery went well, and Brayden was quickly back to his usual self.

Tarek and Heather announced the birth of their son, Tristan Jay El Moussa, on January 31, 2023. The couple initially introduced him to the world without revealing his name or face.

"We just weren’t expecting this. We had just gone through IVF. We had embryos on ice. We had a plan," Heather said of the surprise pregnancy.

Two weeks post-birth, the couple shared Tristan’s name, explaining its personal significance. Heather detailed the challenges they faced during his birth but expressed immense gratitude for his healthy arrival.

During a recent interview, Tarek and Heather reflected on their journey to parenthood, emphasizing how thrilled they are with the arrival of their baby boy and the prospect of future family growth.
