Pico-Robertson School Faces Bomb Threats, According to LAPD Reports
Increased Police Presence at Yeshiva University High School Following Bomb Threat
Authorities have heightened police presence at Yeshiva University High School in Pico-Robertson after a bomb threat was reported on Wednesday evening, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
The threat originated from a voicemail received by a rabbi at the school. The caller claimed that pipe bombs had been planted around the campus and mentioned that an individual armed with an AR-15 rifle and wearing a suicide vest was present.
The alarming call was made around 6:30 p.m. However, the call did not provide specific locations for the purported bombs.
In response to the threat, police conducted a thorough search of the campus for approximately two hours. LAPD has not disclosed whether any explosives were found during the investigation.
As of now, no arrests have been made in relation to the threat.
