Driver Caught After Tires Squeal During Donuts at Burbank Intersection
19-Year-Old Arrested for Reckless Driving in Burbank
A 19-year-old driver has been arrested on suspicion of reckless driving after performing donuts at a busy Burbank intersection. The incident unfolded at East Tujunga Avenue and South Third Street, where the sounds of screeching tires caught the attention of a patrolling officer.
Responding to the commotion, a Burbank Police Department helicopter arrived on the scene and observed the white sedan executing maneuvers in nearby intersections. Officers quickly located the vehicle, a 2012 Lexus IS, and detained the driver.
The young motorist was subsequently arrested on misdemeanor charges of reckless driving. The case will be forwarded to the Burbank City Attorney’s Office for further review and determination of potential charges.
