Parents in Idaho Falls Face Arrest After Toddler Discovered Alone on the Road
Two Parents Arrested After Toddler Found Wandering in Loma Linda
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. – Authorities have arrested two parents after their two-year-old child was discovered wandering alone in the street on Thursday afternoon in Loma Linda.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, a school bus driver found the child at approximately 4 p.m. in the 20000 block of Taylor Street. Following the child’s discovery, deputies conducted a welfare check at the home, where they found unsecured firearms and narcotics accessible to the toddler and two older siblings.
The parents, Dantion Green McGuire, 34, and Monae Myers, 36, have been booked into the Central Detention Center on charges of felony child abuse and weapons violations. A search warrant was obtained and executed at their residence as part of the ongoing investigation.
As the investigation unfolds, it remains unclear who has taken custody of the child and their siblings.
