Universal Orlando Resort is set to celebrate Mardi Gras like never before this year. From February 7 until April 4, guests can partake in Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval, a vibrant event celebrating the spirit of New Orleans.
This year’s concert series will showcase a mix of genres and star power. Notable performances include *NSYNC’s Joey Fatone and Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean, performing on February 21, alongside DJ sets from Kaskade, RuPaul, and Grammy-winner Zedd.
Additionally, well-known bands like Portugal. The Man, the Barenaked Ladies, and The All-American Rejects will take the stage, complemented by solo performances from Ivy Queen, Shaggy, and Tyler Hubbard, formerly of Florida Georgia Line.

Moreover, the festivity continues with a vibrant parade reminiscent of New Orleans, featuring 12 hand-crafted floats celebrating the city’s rich food and music culture. Guests can look forward to high-energy street performers, live music, and colorful beads.

Food enthusiasts can indulge in over 40 dishes representing flavors from 12 different countries, including Cajun mac and cheese from the U.S., crepes from France, and pork schnitzel from Austria, along with fan-favorite New Orleans-inspired beignets available throughout the park’s kiosks and select resort restaurants.

Guests can savor unique offerings at hotel restaurants as well. The Hard Rock Hotel will feature bourbon street beignets, while the Universal Aventura Hotel will serve Korean Cajun jambalaya, and the Endless Summer Resort will present Voodoo street fries.
CityWalk will also feature street entertainment such as guitarists, DJs, and stilt walkers on select nights, along with exclusive drink specials during the Mardi Gras After Party at Pat O’Briens.

New this year, guests can bring home souvenirs from the Mardi Gras Tribute Store, which features exclusive merchandise and themed decorations, located in the Hollywood section of Universal Studios Florida.
