Dianna Agron Stars in U.S. Gun Crisis Drama ‘The Gun On Second Street’ with Sean Penn and Congressman Eric Swalwell as Executive Producers
EXCLUSIVE: Actress Dianna Agron, known for her role in Glee, has joined the cast of the U.S. gun crisis drama The Gun On Second Street, which commenced filming this week.
The film is described as “an allegory of the gun crisis in the United States” and follows the story of two best friends and police partners in Pittsburgh. Their lives take a tragic turn when Officer TJ Meadows III accidentally shoots his partner, Kevin Cooper, during a seemingly routine domestic violence call. Years later, after retiring from the force, Meadows returns to Pittsburgh and develops a relationship with Kacie, Kevin’s widow, as they both grapple with their shared trauma.
Agron will be joined by co-stars Jack Kesy and Tom Arnold, with former boxer Nicola Adams in a supporting role.

Writer, producer, and director Rohit Karn Batra, known for Line Of Descent, is leading the project through The Film Compartment. Guy J. Louthan of Ransom Films is producing alongside Batra.
Executive producers include U.S. Congressman Rikin Shah, California gubernatorial hopeful Eric Swalwell, and partners from Projected Picture Works, including Sean Penn, John Ira Palmer, and John Wildermuth.
Agron has recently completed filming the biopic Mattress Mack alongside Billy Magnussen, as well as a Western noir titled Flint, featuring Josh Holloway. She gained fame for her role in Glee and most recently appeared in the Netflix series El Elegido, based on Mark Millar’s American Jesus. Agron made her theatrical debut in the West End production of McQueen.
