North West Proudly Wears a Stunning 106-Carat Skull Necklace from Her Mom, Kim Kardashian

North West, the 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian, has captured attention with her striking new spike skull necklace, adorned with bright blue jewel eyes. The piece, a Christmas gift from her mother, was showcased in a TikTok video posted on January 2.

In the clip, North shared the unique jewelry while having fun with a friend, highlighting one of three custom items enriched with diamonds. Kardashian, 45, collaborated with Alex Moss New York to create this bespoke jewelry, a process in which North participated as well, according to Moss.

The 106-carat necklace is designed to complement North’s punk rock aesthetic and features her name engraved on the back. Moss revealed that the necklace was inspired by an earlier design he crafted for rapper Playboi Carti in 2018. The piece is made of 71.49 carats of natural diamonds in the pendant and 35.38 carats in the chain.

Alongside the necklace, North also received a spike bracelet crafted from Italian leather and encrusted with 22.76 carats of natural VVS white diamonds. Moss noted that this design was influenced by another bracelet North owns and a piece he created for rapper Ken Carson in 2022.

The celebrity jeweler shared images of North’s necklace on his Instagram account, sparking mixed reactions from fans—some applauded the intricate design, while others questioned its appropriateness for a child.

Kardashian has faced scrutiny in the past regarding North’s fashion choices. Recently, she addressed critics after North showcased fake piercings and tattoos on their joint TikTok account, stating, “This is such a non-issue.”

During a podcast appearance, Kardashian elaborated on North’s fashion experimentation, saying, “She’s usually a girl that dresses like a tomboy most of the time… She wanted to try something that her friends were wearing.”

Kardashian expressed her support for North’s creative expression, affirming, “I’m like, ‘Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is,’” emphasizing that her daughter’s happiness is paramount.

In a notable exchange, North previously gifted her mother a custom diamond necklace featuring the phrase “Skibidi Toilet,” inspired by a popular YouTube series. Kardashian shared this moment on social media, light-heartedly confirming her delight in the surprise.
