2026 Golden Globes: Your Guide to the Best Viewing Party Ideas
This year’s Golden Globes will shift from its traditional first weekend to the second weekend of January. This change is designed to accommodate the inaugural Golden Week of events leading up to the ceremony, scheduled for January 11 and hosted by Nikki Glaser on CBS and Paramount+.
The events will be anchored by Golden Eve, a CBS primetime special that will honor the recipients of the Cecil B. DeMille Award and the Carol Burnett Award. This special is set to be taped and broadcast during the week.
The 2026 Golden Globes weekend will also feature pre- and post-show celebrations organized by Universal, Amazon MGM Studios, Netflix, and BAFTA.
