Finding Harmony: Marcia Kimpton’s Approach to Balancing Glamour and Everyday Life
Marcia Kimpton: A Life Beyond the Legacy
Marcia Kimpton, known as the heiress of the late Bill Kimpton, is carving her own path in the worlds of film and travel. With a busy schedule that includes multiple film projects, the launch of a travel and film application, and hosting a late-night travel talk show, Kimpton remains constantly engaged in her pursuits. To find balance amidst her hectic lifestyle, she relies on a morning ritual that includes mushroom-infused drinks, skincare, and enjoying a good bottle of wine.
"I used to love my coffee first thing every day," Kimpton shared. "But now I get up and have my Four Sigmatic Calm Organic Mix with Reishi Mushrooms, and I no longer need caffeine. I also try to watch the sunrise, thank the universe for another morning, and do a 10-minute meditation before I start my day."
Kimpton is committed to maintaining her appearance while frequently traveling. She praises her favorite facialist, Carole Maggio from Redondo Beach, for her unique services and patented facial exercises known as Facercise. "They really work," Kimpton noted, adding that Kurumi Uchino Schulz is her go-to makeup artist for film and television projects.
For her skincare routine, Kimpton has developed a travel-friendly beauty regimen featuring essential products that include SkinMedica TNS Advanced+ Serum ($295), K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask ($75), SkinCeuticals P-TIOX ($150), and Oribe Maximista Thickening Spray ($42).
When discussing her favorite travel destinations, Kimpton cites Bhutan as her top choice, but she also recommends the South of France: "La Môme Plage is a restaurant on the beach in Cannes. Nothing is sexier than that restaurant. Best DJ, food, service, and view of the Cote d’Azur."
Currently, Kimpton describes her mood as both inspired and introspective as she works on a documentary about her spiritual film, Bardo Blues. “I’ve been asking myself a lot of questions lately, such as how does one navigate the ‘bardo’ in this life and find heaven within oneself with so much darkness in our lives?”
Her multifaceted approach to daily life showcases a unique blend of creativity and self-care that continues to define her journey beyond her family’s legacy.
