Jason Kelce is gearing up for some memorable moments at his brother Travis Kelce’s upcoming wedding to pop icon Taylor Swift.

The 38-year-old retired NFL star has gained attention for previous viral appearances related to his propensity for auctioning his shirt, and he indicated that might continue during the wedding festivities. In a December 22 interview with WSJ. Magazine, Kelce described himself as a wedding guest who is prone to removing his shirt: “Listen, the first time I met Taylor was at a Buffalo Bills game. I jumped out of a suite. She invites us back to things now! We’ll see if the shirt stays on or off.”

If such a shirtless moment were to occur, Kelce believes his wife, Kylie, would likely be unhappy. “I don’t think she was happy about it, to be honest with you,” he noted in a 2024 episode of his podcast, New Heights. “I gave Kylie a heads-up the moment we got into the suite. And she said, ‘Jason don’t you dare.’”

He recalled how Kylie was already urging him to ‘behave’ since they would be meeting Taylor. “Kylie, when I met you, the first day I met you, I was black-out drunk and fell asleep at the bar. This is part of the charm. This is part of the Jason Kelce charm,” he added, reflecting on his personality and the couple’s dynamic.

In recent discussions, Kelce has also addressed his potential role in the wedding. He expressed his desire to be Travis’ best man, though he mentioned, “I’ve been given no details on that front,” during a December 19 interview on Good Morning America. He conveyed excitement regardless of his specific involvement: “I’m just happy for those two.”

Kelce’s supportive attitude is evident since Travis and Taylor began dating, culminating in their engagement announced in August. Jason referred to the occasion as the “proposal heard ‘round the world.”

A source recently shared that Travis’ family is delighted about Swift’s influence in his life, noting, “She’s entirely changed his world in all the best ways, and they’re true partners.” The source also highlighted Swift’s efforts to bond with Travis’ family, including Jason’s four daughters. “She goes out of her way to show the whole family how much she cares for not just Travis, but all of them,” the insider said.
